To sign up for the class of your choice this is done through the Reservation Book made available at the front desk at studio. You may also, call the studio 941-661-4679 to reserve your spot.
Mat Classes are limited to 8 participants. If a class is full, your name will go on a waiting list in order of first name on the waiting list.
To participate in a class, if you are NEW to Pilates, you must have an Initial Screening and demonstrate an understanding of the Principles of Pilates and safe operation the Reformer. If you have previously done Mat Pilates or STOTT PILATES™ Equipment Classes, you are welcome to pariticipate with us and see if it meets your needs. While you are in the class, the instructor will be evaluating your form. A recommendation will be made to you, about the class that may best suit your needs/goals.
Duet Equipment Training Level 1
A beginners class focusing on the Pilates Principles consisting of breathing, core stabilization, alignment, body awareness and control. Participants will primarily work on the Reformer with occasional Spring Wall, Mat, Ball, Foam Roller or functional movement.
Mat Class with Small Equipment
A class for the Pilates participant who has completed at least 5-10 private sessions or one month of equipment classes. Class instruction will include beginner and/or intermediate Pilates movements performed on the mat focusing specifically on abdominal strengthening and core control with proper body alignment. Participants may also perform foam roll, ball, fitness circles, bands or BOSU.
